WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN IN PNH LEVEL 1
What Does The PNH Levels Program Offer? A step-by-step educational process that develops the natural relationship with your horse and your horsemanship skills. Pat says that there's a SAVVY WAY to do everything! It starts with the first introduction to Level 1 and continues throughout the exploration of the rest of the Levels.
LEVEL 1 - PARTNERSHIP
This is the beginning of your PNH adventure. Level 1 is about Basic Skills and Safety! The Partnership Level focuses on understanding the relationship between prey (horses) and predator (humans). You'll discover the Savvy safe way to approach your horse, halter and unhalter your horse, lead your horse, go through gates with your horse, tie basic knots, pick up your horses' feet, desensitize your horse to things he perceives to be scary, and much more. Ground work concepts explored will be: the Zones of the Horse, Respect, Lateral Flexion, and Opposition Reflex. You'll learn the savvy way to saddle and unsaddle, mount and dismount. You will enjoy communicating more naturally through the 7 Games you and your horse will learn.
